Univision sale

Hutton can buy sell and LMA more stations in the time this deal has taken.
Someone run out of money?

oooh yeah, maybe Hutton can introduce another lame format....maybe one that combines music from blu, project(ile vomit), and radio free.

Rumor has it that FCC blocked the sale due to Univision payola problems. Does anyone know anything about this?

That's not what the FCC says. According to their own records, the application was granted effective 11/19/08 under Part 47 CFR 1.102(b). You can view the authorization by searching for applications under "KJFA" and "KIOT," and the Daily Digest entry showing the deal as granted is here: http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/DOC-286883A2.txt. Just look for "FM station applications for assignment of license granted." The Univision/Centennial deal will be the first four stations.
