Univision soccer game Mexico Vs Venezuela. Chile minds.

No disrespect intended to the miners that were stuck in that mines for more than two months. Im glad yall are all safe and. But really Univision?? They couldn't show the game on Univision and the mine tragedy on telefutra?

Well, they're competing networks. It might violate antitrust laws for them to coordinate their programming.

Even if it doesn't, they're both going to go for the highest ratings. MSNBC dropped regular programming for the Chile mine rescue last night too.

What? Univision and TeleFutura are co-owned.

I guess you're to young to remember Baby Jessica.
She fell down an abandoned well in Midland in 1987.
They had to dig a parallel shaft to get down to where she was stuck.
When she was brought to the surface, ALL the networks broke in with the story.

Sorry, I misread his post and thought he said Telemundo, not Telefutura.

As Emily Latella would've said, "never mind."
