Well, it is about time Univision started weaning off its dependence on cheap soap operas from Mexico. It'll take some time, as the articles suggest. However, I think Univision has a good chance of pulling it off, as they are the most widely-viewed Spanish-language network in the States and they have World Cup soccer rights through 2014.
