Unprecedented times/we are all in this together

That's a British company. Even if approved in the UK, it would have to go through another series of tests to be approved for use in the US. It's more likely that a US drug maker, such as J&J or Moderna, will get US approval first.

Is it possible that the FDA could become politicized and weaponized to rush approval of a "miracle" cure or vaccine by November?

Steve Smith's (Red Green) son Dave has jokingly said on his monthly run of episodes on Twitch that they should charge for the use of "We're all in this together" because his dad has used it on his show for years before anyone else.

Also, I've seen on You Tube where some videos will use another phrase like "recent events" instead of mentioning coronavirus because of the chance of being demonetized if they use the actual word.

What about high school musical? They really used the term were all in this together mainstream first so maby this guy on twitch should be paying disney to use it.

The absolute worst had to be the ridiculously cheesy and overdramatized Campbell Soup commercial aired back in April set to the song “Crowded Table” by the Highwomen. It was way over the top and so depressing to watch.

The Red Green Show ran from 1991 to 2006, which is when High School Musical started, so Disney owes Red. :)

How is this likely, especially when considering that the FDA just put the kibosh on the use of chloroquine (SP?) for coronavirus, probably against the wishes of the Administration?

I know many older people who are very vulnerable who will try anything, even if there are secondary effects. I do not blame anyone over 70 for being willing to try any possibility.

We are all in this together. As will be witnessed by 19,000 in a Tulsa arena tomorrow. Good gawd what is going on in our country today? Madness.

It is easy to say it is all a hoax until you or someone close to you gets sick. The fact that this virus seems to hit or miss among us I would think most would take it more seriously. But let’s not pretend. While some of us have not become symptomatic it doesn’t mean we are not spreading it. This is the great conundrum. This virus deserves more respect than we have been giving it. This is the real issue. It is unfortunate that this idea has not been accepted by the general population. Sadly, this will just get worse until we change our attitude about this.

To me, the most telling figures is to compare the US with the rest of the world. Every other country has controlled the spread except us. Every other country had their peaks in April, and they've dropped down to near zero, except us. What are we doing differently? We have a portion of the population who believe it's a hoax.

And a portion that simply doesn’t care about others, “hoax” or otherwise.

There is a terrible lack of conscientious and critical thinking among many young members of society today. I don’t know where the blame lies but it is evident there is little understanding of how this virus not just effects old people but themselves. Sad.
