Unusual conditions on MW the last few nights

It has been very quite on the senior band the last couple of nights here in the Chicago area. Early the morning I picked up KFJB on 1230 from Marshalltown, IA. I just happened to tune across the frequency at around 5 am when they were doing the ID and a couple of spots. I rarely ever check graveyard frequencies for DX because in general, it is a lost cause. This one was in the clear with only a small amount of background noise and interference.

On their web site, for their 90th anniversary they have some interesting information about the station here: http://1230kfjb.com/KFJB-90th-Anniversary/15708970

No interference from WJOB or splash from WSBC? I guess it depends on exactly where in the Chicago area you are (WSBC was fairly strong in the NW 'burbs when I lived there years ago, while the old WCRW and WEDC were not, and WJOB was inaudible).
