Unusual Reception in New Britain last night

Last night I was about 20 minutes early for a meeting at EC Goodwin Technical High School on the corner of Slater Road and Osgood Avenue in New Britain, so as I was sitting in the car I was flipping through the FM dial. I don't know if it was a band opening or what but these were the unusual stations I was picking up around 6:40PM last night.

97.7 WCTY Norwich, CT
98.1 WCTK New Bedford, MA
99.3 LAZER-FM North Hampton, MA
99.7 WEAN Wakefield-Peacedale, RI
102.3 WMOS Stonington, CT
103.3 CARIBBEAN PIRATE
104.7 WXLM Montauk, Long Island
105.5 WQGN Gorton, CT
106.5 WBMW Ledyard, CT

LAZER, WMOS, WXLM, and WBMW were staticy but listenable.

Also. Great station if you can get it. 94.5 WERB Berlin, CT. Owned by Berlin High School. They were play Adult Standards type music.
 
Just where is Gorton, CT? Is it the home of the fisherman? ;)

How is your reception of WWRX-FM 107.7 of Pawcatuck? (a.k.a. Jammin' 107.7) I occasionally get a weak signal only if WFCS-FM 107.7 of New Britain (CCSU) is off the air.
 
Diamond Joe - Nope.

Kevin - It's never ceases to amaze me no matter how many times I double check what I'm posting typos still sometimes manage to get through. Also I wasn't able to pick up WWRX. I was getting WFCS.

Other stations I was able to pick up Tuesday night albeit they were staticy were WXLO 104.5 Worcester, Mass (not sure of their correct COL) and WAAF 107.3 Paxton, Mass (again not sure of their correct COL)

WXLO is Worcester.
WAAF I believe is Westborough (used to be Worcester)

WXLO's COL is Fitchburg. Studios in Downtown Worcester w/ the rest of Citadel Worcester.
