I don't believe this has been brought up on here yet, but CNBC announced plans this week to revamp its early morning lineup, as reported in the above articles:

* Wake Up Call will be discontinued.
* In its place, from 4AM-6AM Eastern, will be a new, as yet untitled business report with anchors in Singapore, London, and New York (where Michelle Caruso-Cabrera will anchor).
* Squawk Box will expand to 4 hours (6AM-10AM Eastern) as of December 19. Carl Quintanilla will return to CNBC to anchor the first three hours (he's been at NBC News the past couple of years). Becky Quick and Joe Kernen will be alongside.
* Mark Haines and David Faber will appear in the 9-10AM hour of Squawk Box, which be dubbed "Squawk on the Street" because it will air live from the New York Stock Exchange.
* Plus, the overall on-air look and graphics of CNBC will be revamped, though the peacock logo will remain.
