Many of you have been asking questions and wondering why I haven't been on the air, and I've been pretty quite about the whole thing. I apologize, for I have been negotiating with Clearchannel in good faith, to try to resolve our (Kid and I) situation. Well as of December 20th, I was released of my duties as host of the morning show at Kiss FM. Many of you know my partner Krazy Kid was suspended on September 1st for comments he made on the air, and has not returned since. Since September 1st, our lawyers and Clearchannel's lawyers have been going back and forth to try reslove the problem. There has been many attempts to get Kid back on the air, but the terms and conditions Clearchannel demanded in order to get Kid back on, were "unacceptable". If Kid would've returned under the terms and conditions demanded, it would have been a totally different sounding show. A show that Kid and I would've had no control over.
While Kid and I have been negotiating in good faith with Clearchannel to continue the Kid and Ruben show on Kiss FM, we haven't been able pursue other opportunities that have been presented to us. Now that Kiss FM is out of the question, we are in the process of finding a new home for the Kid and Ruben show. As soon as we know more, we will update everyone. Thanks to all of you who have supported Kid and I throughout the years, and thanks to those who have supported me personally, the past few months. You guys are the best. Stay tuned!
