Update on Dee Alexander (Formally from WARM 101.3)

Was Dee wearing a tux when she went to work at WARM?

(Or is she "formerly" of 101.3? ;D )

What are you my English teacher? ;D
Besides I worked in radio and we had spell check. No such luck here.

I'm glad she's found life elsewhere, but she is a pro and should be on the radio.

And that is part of the reason she lost her job in the first place.

Many mega-giant broadcasting corporations want to balance their bottom line so they get rid of some of their higher-paid talent.

In this case however it was a "mini-me" broadcasting company that thought there was no need for the Tony and Dee Show to continue. So Tony stayed and Dee was let go.

Look what WHAM did to Beth Adams by breaking up the very popular Chet & Beth morning show.
At least both ladies have moved on with their lives and careers and I wish them the very best.

This is part of a broader trend in several markets. What's been driving the switch to a single-person morning show has certainly been cost as well as shifting listener preferences (at least that is what is told to investors). I can't see what the impact has been since we don't subscribe to Arbitron, although it would be interesting to see if there was a material impact on audience.
