Update on MLB Media Rights in 2026.

Netflix gets the WBC.
In Japan, where the WBC is always highly anticipated and widely followed. US rights remain with MLB and its own network. Given MLB's cutting of ties with Apple+ and Roku starting next season in favor of outlets that increase rather than reduce access to games, I'd imagine the WBC either stays in-house on the MLB Network or becomes part of the ESPN or NBC deal.

Netflix will take Home Run Derby international so id bet they do the same with WBC.

Possible, but HR Derby is not an actual baseball game, and baseball is the product MLB wants to get more eyes on. I can see the WBC going mostly to Peacock, with Team USA games and the championship games being simulcast on NBC. We'll see how this all shakes out.

The league will go with who ever gives them the most money.
