Hi Again Everyone! Here's an update on Uncle Walt Query:
As of Fri. May 7th., Uncle Walt is holding his own. He recently got over a bout
with Pneumonia due to changing weather and was recovering and responding
to treatment. I was told by Aunt Tina that Uncle
is an "absolute flirt" with the nurses that are taking care of him. He still
utilizes the ventilator but sometimes goes without it. I was also told that
he misses his "Moxie" soda . . . or at least the taste of it. One of his nurses
was able to moisen a large swab & let Uncle chew on it (where there's a will . . . right . . ?)
flavored with Root Beer! I guess it's the "Maine" in him!
