Upgrade for Daystar in Tucson

Last Friday, Daystar applied for a license to cover new facilities for KPCE-LP channel 29. Gone is the 23.1 kW signal originating from the Santa Rita Mountains near Green Valley, which barely reached the southern parts of Tucson. In its place is a 108 kW signal from the Tucson Mountains west of downtown, covering most of the metro area. I was able to pick them up in Red Rock, which is closer to downtown Casa Grande than to downtown Tucson. The new license will specify Tucson as its city instead of Green Valley.
