Upload not working?

I tried to upload a jpg file this morning and got the following message:

The upload failed because the temporary directory was missing. The site administrator will need to resolve this...

I tried it on two different computers just to be sure it wasn't some kind of local issue and got the same message.

I had that issue last night as well.
 
"Oops! We ran into some problems.
The upload failed because the temporary directory was missing. The site administrator will need to resolve this before any files can be uploaded."
