That is the directive from Fox Corporate for all Fox O&O's where there is a duopoly with a UPN station. They have been officially instructed to disassociate themselves completely from the UPN brand. One wonders if they are sharing this new found hatred of UPN with their dedicated UPN advertisers as they attempt to keep them through at August?

Its happened in San Diego too

The UPN station in San Diego was being run by the local Fox affliate, and they have also changed their logo, dropping UPN from the name:

So the flies are dropping fast, eh?

Seems like quite a stretch to interpret this as Fox developing a hatred towards UPN. I think it's a smart, strategic move to begin the disassociation with UPN in light of the merging of UPN/WB programming into the CW (still a silly name for a network, in my humble opinion). By beginning the disassociation with UPN now, you begin changing viewer habits early on.

And it's not limited to Fox or UPN, either -- WDWB in Detroit and KBWB in San Francisco, both WB affiliates to be indies this fall, have both dropped their WB brandings, for the same reasons.

Re: 20 Vision

KTXH should go back to it's "20 Vision" moniker. That was a great station way back when..... had all of the Astros and Rockets road games, and the old TV reruns like Batman and The Monkees.

and the semi-edited movies.
