Upper Wenatchee translator move-ins granted

All the Upper Wenatchee Valley TV Association major modifications have been granted. These are not construction permits, just grants. There were some channel changes:

K08JP-D is now on channel 2 as K02RN-D
K09ES-D is now on channel 3 as K03JH-D
K13ER-D is now on channel 7 as K07AAT-D
K11EZ-D is now on channel 4 as K04SH-D
K10LG-D will continue on channel 10.

All are granted at 3kw from the Rattlesnake Ridge tower that they are intending to use. The Longley Rice signal map shows good coverage on the east side of the Puget Sound region but poor coverage in Seattle proper.

Here is the coverage map and also one with the Longley-Rice overlay showing how the best reception will be on the eastside. This is the map for K10LG-D but it's the same for all of the 5 that have been granted.

Will be watching these frequencies to see if they ever actually come on the air. I predict Rattlesnake Mountain is simply an interim site- a move to Tiger, Cougar or one of the Seattle towers is likely in the works.
