US unusual winter Sporadic-E peak

So figured I'd make a new thread about the unusual winter Sporadic-E peak. Odd to see a peak like this this late into January and normally a much weaker Sporadic-E peak compared to late spring into summer.

It wasn't just the west coast. There was openings for somebody I know in Arkansas as well and some others it appears.

After sorting through I/Q files I managed 109 logs with relogs and many of them new. Best was the evening of January 23rd and the next day in the morning.

Shortest was 93.3 KXAZ Page, AZ at 564 Miles on the evening of the 24th. Longest ended up being 88.3 KOLB Hartington, NE at 1339 Miles on the evening of January 22nd. Both are relogs.

A fun log was 93.1 CJXX Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada 1287 Miles. This is the furthest north into Canada I've had.

Mixed into is lots of new stuff to Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska. A few new logs to Texas and one to Wyoming.

Image is showing logs over the several day peak of this event.

Within the past month, I've, once again, picked up KHSV-TV, Ch. 21 (RF Ch. 2.), Las Vegas, NV, & KREX-TV, Ch. 5 (RF Ch. 3.), Grand Junction, CO, in Carrollton, MO, via winter E-Skip!
