Used HD Equipment

We're a small market, with two translators.
We want to go HD only for the ability to use the HD2 and HD3 programming on the translators.
We're thinking a separate HD transmitter and antenna, 250w erp.
I'm looking for first generation exciter, exporter, importer.
Any ideas?

I thinking the first generation of ibiquity hardware didn't do any subchannels at all.

I suggest that a phone call to Nautel or other reliable xmtr manufacturer is your wisest move. You are going to spend a few grand either way and any extra for a custom designed, up to date and professionally installed plant is money well spent. It is always best to check with those who know what you want and can demonstrate similar situations/solutions and provide the options you need today. Also these folk can anticipate and plan now for any possible future upgrades. HD is not a good hack.

About $40k will do it.
