Since Christmas is over, probably OK to go off topic...

Beginning 2/1 the call letters for 98.9 are changing to WOMT.

WOMT is currently a full service AC at 1240 AM along with an FM translator. Since there is no call sign exchange, sadly I think the Easy Listening format is coming to an end. 😢
 
Ah, I see.

That's too bad, but probably inevitable.

For what it's worth, though, it appears that both stations are under the same ownership, so the churn isn't too bad.

Oldies! Soft AC! Alternative rock! Deep-playlist classic hits! (Just trotting out the not-a-prayer formats that nearly always get mentioned in threads like this. Oh, and don't forget that all these formats should be all-local, with live DJs in all shifts, including overnight.)
