Nope, but corporate America is image-conscious to the nth degree. Wouldn't be surprised if the NFL's legal eagles are looking for a loophole to get out of the long-term contract with Roc Nation to book the halftime talent. This year's show is safe. If Diddy were the scheduled performer next February, you can bet he'd be nowhere near that stage unless every charge against him were proven false or (more likely) unless he'd paid every single witness enough to just make the whole thing go away.Nothing is going to be brought to any trial in the space of +/- 2 months.
Well, yeah. It's not top of mind for me, either, but as a music geek as well as a radio/TV geek, I find the inner workings of the halftime show more interesting than most. Casual viewers don't post on internet message boards like this, so why even bring them up?Who books the Super Bowl halftime show is not exactly top of mind for the millions of casual viewers who don’t even really engage until it’s here. There’s a long way to go before any of this shakes out.
Depends on how nervous the sponsors get. Rap and rappers still make Corporate America nervous, justifiably or not, and hip-hop impresarios like Jay-Z have to be as squeaky clean as possible.Idk if the NFL cancels it's contract with Jay Z after the latest scandal.
Of course not. It’s been what, maybe a week or less since this “broke?” It’s so far off everyone’s radar already that it might as well be on Mars.NFL commissioner says league's relationship with Jay-Z unaffected by allegations.

Wait, what? Rap and hip hop is very much a part of mainstream pop culture and like all such things, “corporate America” is all in on what makes money.Depends on how nervous the sponsors get.
