UStream is dangerous

showing a total lack of judgement...I'm going to put Saturday's 6-10a central
broadcast from WSIX up on Ustream. I know delta did this first (and well)...
but I thought I'd give it a try. what could go wrong?

BTW...the audio will be marginal at best...laptop doesn't handle the air feed well (yet).
 
FICTION: Marginal is the pretty much always the general theme, eh CR? ;D

FACT: You will still have more listeners than RQQ, especially if your site is DOWN.

REQUEST: Can you throw some oldies in the UStream mix, so we can get some people wanting you to do an Oldies channel on there?

i have roughly 100 hits per weekend night(sat/sun), with a loyal and somewhat fermented crowd of about 25 or so,,i have 35 followers as far away as alaska...and one guy who listens via translater in japan. the audio i hear seems excellent..as i broadcast on one pc..and monitor on a second pc...ive listened on aother pc's in the house and the sound is very good..as good as any fm station i hear..i'm doing anything special on my end running ots audio bedroom player with the compression and plate reverb on..the only problem i have is a couple times each night, my system might burp..drop pout for a few seconds..hopefully with the new mobo and cpu going in next month..that will cure the problem..in fact tonight it will be on by 7pm as i am going to an offsite pc to do some maintience for a freind will have it playing on auto pilot so i can hear what listeners really hear.......
 
trying it again Fiday morning 6-10...until I get tired of it (will not have chat window open)

between us we have mornings and nights covered...maybe BS could do mid-days (after he dumps his 'dial-up' and rotary phone)

I'd think about it. What time would I have to be up? Maybe 12-3p but no earlier. And what's wrong with dial ups and rotary phones?
