Any word on the fall book for Utica???...last I heard, it was embargoed...but I also heard there was a party over on Genesee Street on Friday. Did Mix gain ground on Lite 98.7?

From what I heard, Lite went down, but only slightly. Considering Lite's last book was a higher-than-usual 14.2, you can't totally blame it on the new PD. Big Frog 104 is #1 in the market, Lite is #2. They have been swapping the #1 and #2 rankings for years.
Apparently low response from women 18-34 made for some really weird weighting that helped Kiss out a lot, and they desperately needed that help.
Mix remained right about where it's been. If I were Linda Rae or Mike Walsh, I'd bury any grudges and I'd be applying for the open midday position at Lite. If Mix is still getting the same numbers it had while it was jockless, what incentive does ClearChannel have to continue paying them?
So who embargoed it? Regent typically doesn't, and you would think if CC had any good news (as it did with Kiss), they'd want to brag about it left and right. Did Galaxy cut it's subscription? Or did some other two-bit operator (ie. Arjuna) get caught using the 12+ numbers illegally? That's the only reason I would imagine Regent or CC requesting an embargo.

Yes, the 18-34 where weighted toward Kiss, so the celebration will be over in
6 monthes. From what I hear, The GM says it was his best book in 5 years.
So another 5 year plan may be in order comrade. Now Since the 18-34 where booted to kiss, Mix did no gain on Lite. So Kiss, like many of their listeners, gained by being graded on a curve. Can't beleive with Talent Like Hank Brown and the Adam the overweight, the sports stars had no rating. I must have been crazy to come here from Texas and just go run out for food.
