"V" on ABC

Apparently "V" got phenomenal ratings on ABC but has been canceled.

In that some people have thought that the new series is an allegory to Obamamania, some liberal execs at ABC are screaming that is disrespectful and not the show that was originally pitched to ABC.

I hope it's not canceled because the debut kicked ass. And this is the first new broadcast TV show I've watched in a very long time. Yes, I know V's not a new idea. I just got tired of the shows I liked on network TV being canceled. The FX and AMC shows are pretty much the only shows I've been watching. Call me crazy, but I like shows that have a script and storyline. Who needs network TV anyways. Too much so called reality.

It's not cancelled. Dude's been smoking something strange to come up with that incoherent statement.

For those of us who remember the original series that ran in the mid 1980s, ABC's V is nothing but a recycled plot with better computer graphics.

I will however give it a second chance and watch another episode again this coming week. However I highly doubt that V will become one of the regular programs that I DVR.
