Gee, been seeing a lot of this station being advertised, especially on Channel 7.

Is TV even a effective way to advertise your station nowadays?

I dunno, but here on the East Coast I've seen The New FRESH 102.7 in NYC advertised everyday for the past week during the CW 11 Morning News. And sometimes in the afternoon/early evening I've seen their sister station 101.1 JACK-FM advertised on CW 11.

Yeh, TV advertising (the Movin' Stickman) did wonders for 93.9 ;D
