V103 Falcons Broadcast?

Ok, what's the story behind the V103 Falcons Radio broadcast? Is it a competing broadcast? Was it a one-time thing? It had Bob neal, chuck Smith and Ryan Cameron in the booth. I'm a fan of Wes Durham and Dave Archer, but the the V103 broadcast was fun. I just don't understand how there can be a second broadcast of the Falcons game in the same market? There must be a story behind this.

Didn't hear about this but if true it is quite interesting. Obviously most stations cater to separate audience and the Falcons do have one of the more diverse fan bases in the NFL so what a unique way to market to each of those audiences.

I believe Falcons now buy the time on Dave FM so if by adding a separate broadcast on V can increase the overall audience by even 25% it might be much more attactive to draw in additional revenue for the Falcons.

It seems genius to me if it works in pulling in more ears.

The broadcast was very good and was fun to hear. I listened from wire to wire. I don't know if V-103 promoted for weeks or not or if it was a last minute change.

Bob Neal was an easy listen and seemed to have a good repore with his color men. Ryan Cameron was amazing as a color guy and Chuck Smith wasn't bad either (his locker room reports were a different story however, awful). I would go with Just Bob and Ryan if they do it again. Elle Duncan was the sideline reporter, she just sounded so cute.

"Hometeam" Brandon Leak sounded like a good fit on V-103. He and Ryan had a very good repore after the game . They were funny on the pre-game show as well.

I wonder if V-103 is trying to tap into the sports market. It had to be a test run for a revenue generator. It would be interesting to see if V-103 did it again. I would listen.

I'm not sure it's necessary to bring race into this.

I think you are right, it must have been a test run. I just would have thought that DAVE-FM would have had some sort of exclusive rights or something.

Or Dave could be looking to offload the Falcons like how they just offloaded their morning show.
