Valentine in the Morning

The new Valentine in the Morning show started on Lite 102.9 this morning. Did you listen and what do you think about the new syndicated show?

I've heard the show, but not on WLYT. It's decent and should be a nice alternative to the boring offerings at 104.7. It runs 5-8am with a commercial free hour at 8am according to the website.

Is this Alex Valentine- was in Dallas a while?

Sean Valentine, from KBIG Los Angeles, formerly KIIS-FM LA, WZOU Boston. I was at At Kiss 108 during his 'ZOU days. Used to call me all the time on the request line to chat, and let me know how much he wanted to trade gigs with me. A very, very nice guy.

I wish him limited success. ;-)

As has been mentioned before, it's Sean Valentine. He has, however, also been in Dallas. He was on KHKS 106.1 for quite awhile.

I would agree, 102.9 has been sounding much better. 104.7 has not sounded the same since they went and canned all the great talanet. Holly, Scarlet, Landers, T-Ed...they were fun, made it interesting. It's begining to sound more and more canned, little to no listener interaction. Start with a fresh play list, then get some real talent in there..

I agree the K needs help. I tried listening to them Saturday afternoon and heard "Doo Wah Ditty" (from 1964!) in to Christina Aguilera. IMO, they need help in the imaging department. Get some new liners (and a new voice), and get some jingles that sound more contemporary and AC-like.

I guess the DJ's are just doing their job but they aren't as good as what was there in the past.
