Van Halen Is In The Studio w/David Lee Roth: Will 99.7/The Fox Play It?

Van Halen is in the recording studio w/Diamond David Lee, Eddie, Alex & Wolfgang.

Will 99.7/The Fox play the new music, or the same Van Halen they've always programmed?

Will it take them years (as usual) to add a new cut, or just play a new hit a few times & say "Here's a new cut from the new Van Halen album", then not play it again?

Who else will play Van Halen in Charlotte?

106.5/The End probably won't.

93.3/The Planet will.

If It sounds ANYTHING like the Van Halen with Gary Cherone...they should be banned from the airwaves forever...

They probably won't. All for the same reasons you don't hear Chickenfoot, or the new stuff from Bruce Springsteen, Rush, REO Speedwagon, , Kiss, etc. on the rock stations. Classic Rock is catering to fans who love their songs from 30-40 years ago. Heck, Modern rock is stuck playing sonegs from 15-20 years ago. I don't think the listeners are stuck in a rut as much as the radio programmers are on going out on a limb and breaking a new artist, let alone a new song by an old one.

There was a classic rock station in Myrtle Beach that played new music. At the time, they were calling themselves "classic rock that really rocks".
