Vandals cut WXBR transmitter line

Are we sure it wasn't the rats??

From article:

>>(the transmitter line) was cut in three different places with scissors or pliers. But it’s a very sharp cut, very sharp,” he said, adding that there were “tire tracks all over the place.”

Yeah some rats drove in to gnaw away at the xmtr line ::)

Don't be so quick to believe everything you read in the Enterprise. There's a LOT of drama going on over at that station--we'll just leave it at that. :)

it could have been heliax thieves though. if i recall, thieves sawed off a portion of MBTA track and carried it off into the woods around Stoughton/avon recently, and gave up when it was too heavy to get it back to a waiting flatbed truck

I think it's sad how a band (am) which pretty much started radio as a whole has been reduced to this. :(
