Vanessa Welch leaving WFXT Fox25

I predict that WFXT’s news operations will be shut down within five years.
With the cuts they've done and these changes in reporters and anchors, it's showing. Wouldn't be surprised if that happens.

Saturday night news gone, a whole list of anchors/reporters have moved on for various reasons (non renewed contracts, leaving the industry etc..).

I have been watching WBZ News a bit more now.

I have not watched WFXT's news in several years. After the Cox Media takeover and switch to "cheesy" looking graphics in 2015, the local news on that station pales in comparison to what you see on WBZ and WCVB.

WFXT news was great when they were a fox owned and operation station but ever since cox took over wfxt they went downhill
