Vanilla Ice on Love FM?

I would not consider "Ice Ice Baby" a typical 100.3 Love FM song. Hmmmm....

It sounds more like a "movin'" type of song. Thoughts? Think they are tweaking the format?

They've been playing it for awhile. Same goes for MC Hammer - U Can't Touch This

and if you think Love FM playing them is weird? WLIT also plays them during their flashback weekends. I love hearing DJs say "Here's Vanilla Ice on The Lite"

I've just checked out the music log on Lite. They just played Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name" :p They also played "Livin On A Prayer" a few hours ago.
An hour ago they played Boston's "More Than A Feeling"

Lot of stuff up at LOVE-fm is unusual.....like running a count down when everyone else is doing mixes on New Years Eve....And they got a decent mixer that should be on more than one day a week.....

Maybe one of you guys should put in your resume' for one of the on air talent positions they have posted.. ;) ;) ;)

All stations are losing their listeners to XM or Sirius. The suits are going mad on what to do. Probelm is, you cannot compete with xm or Sirius. Radio as we know it is dead. It will never be the same. The same boring songs, boring dj's boring eveything.

All these stations are now going "JACK" because people are flipping channels faster than ever.

You will start to hear that all these stations sound the same.

Go Sirius!!

They want to do stuff but, they feel what people suggest is not what listeners want to hear....They should do what the movie industry did in the late 70s & 80s- pull out all the stops....and get folks back in the movies and away from the TV sets..

[EDIT]. Radio has been around for more than 70+ years. Satalite for just over a year. Of course radio is going to still be on top. Like CD's overtook Records. Give it some time. I promise you in 5 years 1 out of 3 people will be satallite!!!

Radio still sucks!!!!
