You could call it a variation on the JACK format. I love it, and I am nowhere near there target demo. Paul Thompson (DMG boss) boasted a station for 40 to 60 year old's, but so far after it's first survey, it looks like isn't going after the over 55's. Early signs point toward it doing good things for the 40-54 demo (assuming they don't mess with it.) Give it (a bit of) time to settle, and a decent marketing push, and you could find it being a real contender for the lucrative 40-54 demo.
