Vegas country shootout

According to the latest Arbitron trends, we've got a real battle brewing between KWNR and the Coyote. Looks like Beasley knew what it was doing when it flipped 104.3 from Adult Standards to Country. Or is it too early to tell?

Ah, a good old fashion format war! Fun times!

If they want continued success, Beasley needs to leave the station alone for a while. They have made waaaay too many changes in just over a year.

Conventional programming wisdom says make a change and then let the listeners get use to the change, throw too much at them too quickly and you'll run them off. I'm not in the market and have not heard the station or the amount of changes the station has made in the last year, but is it possible the audience is capable of taking in whatever we throw at them and liking the change no matter the number of changes that you make? Something to ponder, maybe we've been wrong and the listener is smarter than we've given him/her credit for, my goodness what a concept that would be, don't you think?
