Verizon FiOS Drops The Weather Channel

I did not make that guess after seeing the title of your message for the first time.
 
If FiOS simply adds basic WX info from Accuweather on the same channel, no one will miss the Weather Channel. It's not like their 'original' programming is a big draw. They have minimal leverage and need to decide if getting cleared on FiOS and getting some revenue is better than nothing at all.
