Verizon Strike Barely Mars WGNA's St. Jude Telethon

Despite a snag involving a dedicated pledge number, which was discovered to have been "disconnected due to human error," WGNA (Country 107.7) has already surpassed last year's total for their annual St. Jude Radiothon after a one-day period. This includes about two hours of downtime on Wednesday, made possible by unions currently on strike against Verizon as a new contract is proposed.
