KYAF 94.7 in Firebaugh is a 900 watt station about 80 ft., and is known as the new KKDJ, which I can't even get at all at 99 and Herndon, no trace at all, but I get stations 100+ in miles on my radio on other frequencies even adjacent stations, KYAF-LP is a repeater is in the Tower District on 99.7, the station your talking about that you here in Tulare is Classic Rock K100 KIOO Porterville that I get in Clovis Instead of 99.7 KKDJ also Classic Rock.
 
99.7 is a translator owned by Gary Cocola Broadcasting. The FCC just granted their moving it to Blackstone and Gettysberg yesterday.

Looks like it would be a nice little radio station that serves the entire metro, if it were on 98.5. Either way I want to know how they receive KYAF in the middle of Fresno like that.

https://ecfsapi.fcc.gov/file/020113236678/FCC-17-6A1.pdf seems to indicate both verne and Zawilla were both denied an appeal as the supposed non-profit the license application was filed under was not in existence until years later, therefore the application was invalid.

Unfortunately looks like KZPO is gone
 
I think I did something really bad today. I went to Hanford dropped into the Deli shop that vern owns where i met him before and did what he ask of me I printed out all of the posts on the vern chat log on line. He thanked me and ask me if I knew who these people screen names) are. I told him I only met a few. He is very upset about what he states as slander to both him and his wife, he thanked me and then he told me he was going to send these to his attorney. He was especially upset about what was said about his wife. I personally do not want to be involved in any legal action. I assured him I did not do that in any of my posts mine are strictly technical.
He made it very clear he was legally going after these people, I am sorry if I opened up a can of worms I should have never given him the printouts of this forum but since it had his name on it I felt it would be ok. Big Mistake SORRY
 
This is comical if I can spell riite so Gary Cocola owns 99.7 it should be on his lptv stations so like am can you can have a repeater to a lptv station makes since to me, they should buy the lowest am maybe 1210 am, simulcast and make the fm commercial legal.
 
RC the only thing you posted are lies. And that means that Vern can only go after YOU. Not anyone that posted the truth. And now you are trying to start fires.

You posted that you visited the studios of KZPO on Mooney in downtown Visalia during the month of November 2017.

KZPO had moved to a new Studio in 2015. The log sheet shows that you NEVER visited the KZPO studios or met with anyone connected with KZPO.
