Versus Adds 'NBC SportsTalk' Block To Weeknight Lineup

People who will work at the soon-to-be NBC Sports Network include Darren Rovell, Mike Florio, Peter King of Sports Illustrated and Russ Thaler. The first NBC SportsTalk show is schedule to debut on Sept. 8 at 6pm.

Sounds very comparable to the daily sports shows ESPN already has. It'll be good to have that variety.

I noted from the article that Ross Tucker would be a contributor to the NBCSN's CollegeFootballTalk show. This is interesting to me because Tucker is one of the main hosts of ESPN's Football Today podcast. Not a major gig compared to actual TV work, obviously, but its still a weird intersection.

Would I be wrong in assuming people won't see any more Peter King appearances on ESPN's Pardon The Interruption?

So is "SportsTalk" going to take any phone calls? Wonder if Captain Janks will be ready for the debut?"Brian Westbrook is joining us..." ::)
