(Very) Bad modulation on 94.7 in Cheyenne

K234AH in Cheyenne, home to YNOP, has been working fine since forever, but just a few days ago, the modulation got so bad that it wasn't even really listenable. It's like the music portion overloads on bass, and the words are barely perceptible. For the record, 1630 KVAM doesn't have this problem right now, so I'll gladly choose that route until things get fixed.

I don't really listen to them too much, but on my recent scans of the dial, I knew something was way wrong with 94.7. I read on other parts of this website that translators are prone to this type of problem all the time, why is that? It seem as if this nonsense is more common now than it used to be.

I can upload video of the problem so you engineers out there can get a sense of how bad it sounds, if needed.

Update:They did send an email saying they would look into it.
