The East Coast had lots of FUN today. Their skip got up to the 2-meter ham band at times, with 500 mile logs noted at times (check the TVFM skip log!)
Out west, only a snippet of spotty Es came, around 5:30-6pm this afternoon. The MUF (briefly) reached 97.5 and the skip was very spotty, but it still resulted in one new station.
95.7 - KSWI Atlantic, IA; Alice Cooper Nights and mention of their website, 'ks957.com' at 5:36PM PT (7:36 CT). NEW #611, 20KW at 1316 miles.
Also noted - a 96.5 with Lia (suspected KSOM), 88.3/90.9 religion and 90.7 two stations mixing with KNWR (Opera and Christian music).
