VH-1 has become Video Hellhole One

Remember when VH-1 was the adult contemporary and "closet classics" for baby boomers counterpart to MTV let's say about twenty years ago???

Now you have to get digital cable to get "VH-1 Classic" which hardly duplicates VH-1's former self aside from the MTV 25th Anniversary shindig.

The tabloid crap,"best week ever" and related garbage doesn't come close to what VH-1 used to be except for maybe early in the mornings.

The only time they play music anymore is their "Nocturnal State" block between 3 and 6 AM (ET) and their "Top 20 Countdown" show. I won't watch anything else on VH-1 either. The worst is when they shill to corporate owner Viacom and run a movie from the Paramount library in prime time. Ugh!
 
Viacom should be prohibited from owning any cable networks period. They all suck. Spike-TV, Comedy Central, MTV, MTV-2, VH-1, TVLAND, BET, and Nickelodeon.

Comedy Central - There's more to comedy than MAD-TV Reruns, and the those god awful news-paody shows.

Spike-TV - They've been a trainwreck since they flipped to the Spike-TV format.

MTV/MTV-2 - Nuff said. The only good things on MTV-2 are: High School Stories, Celebrity Death Match, Yo Momma! (which in my opinion belongs on Comedy Central), and The Adventures of Chico & Guapo.

BET - The only good thing about BET is that they no longer show the brain dead religious programs all day on Sundays. All their movies suck.

TV LAND - They suck because of those weirdos who are dancing for the Friday Night Movie Show. Also bad is the non-stop Bonanaza/Gunsmoke on the weekends.. Their original shows suck too. They also need to stop with the running of shows in four hour blocks every aternoon.

Nickelodeon - The Complaint I have about them is mostly with Nick-At-Nite. They are so obscessed with The Fresh Prince. I don't mind Full House or Roseanne, but what I do mind is that Mad About You and Newsradio should be on in a better time slot than the overnight timeslot. The other gripe is how they're running the show's over. For Example The Roseanne Marathon they run on Tuesdays. The Show airs at 10:03, 10:37, 11:10, 11:45, 12:20, 1:00, and 1:40.
