VHF Coaxial In-Line Amplifier

I'm looking for a VHF coaxial in-line amplifier. Specifically, one to mount up at the antenna on a small tower. Preferably one with N connectors (male input and female output) and a gain in the neighborhood of 15 dB. This is for use with a VHF RPU receiver (160 MHz).

Pasternack has exactly what I'm looking for, except in the wrong frequency range (http://www.pasternack.com/detail.aspx?ID=60974).

Anyone know of a source where I might be able to find one of these designed for operation in the VHF band?
 
Antenna Receiver Research (ARR) used to offer one for multiple UHF and VHF frequencies.

Problem you run into is that this increases the availability for overload of the device. lightning nearby and the preamp is blown.

Have you tried using a Gallium Arsenide (Gasfet) preamp at the end of the cable with a bandpass cavity?

Even using 1/2" line this seems to be the best way to amplify the signal and still retain some form of control.

Using this in amateur radio service we found the Gasfet preamp from ARR would allow an additional 10 to 15 miles into each site with handheld devices. Handheld with a rubber duck. With marti units using even a whip on a mic stand you will note phenomenal range increases.

In most of these isntances we used 150-200 feet of half inch prior to the cavity/preamp.
