Jurkowitz is pretty full of it too. He wrote a GLOWING profile of Severin a few years back for the Globe and has written about him in the Phoenix as well. He used to be a fan which is of course his right. Odd I thought for a supposed liberal to be entertained by Severin's conservative polysyllabic schitck, however I also think he was not quite as much an obvious shill of the right at the time. Either way Jurkowitz has been a Severin appreciator in the past
