I can not say much from that aspect, but I can speak on the company. I am using one of their RD10 units on a fringe translator to watch for "hijacking" from a co-channel station. Every time I have contacted them, they have been very responsive and helpful.

With what I have looked at for your situation, this does seem like it would fit well. I have been impressed with the design and concept. The best thing I can recommend is to see if they will send you a demo unit (encoder and decoder).
