Vicki Lawrence now doing infomercials

So I'm flipping through the channels this morning and I come across the Hallmark Channel. There's Vicki Lawrence doing an infomercial for a little kitchen contraption called The Big Boss Grill. She was the one demonstrating how to cook on the thing. There was a gentleman on the infomercial with her.

Of course you ask me the infomercial would've been much funnier if she was doing it in her "Mama" character.

I'm sure it's on YouTube. Search for Big Boss Grill.

Apparently, this is nothing new: I found a post on your other favorite message board (Sitcoms Online) reporting that she was hawking "The Big Boss Grill" as recent as June 2009.

As far as YouTube, I can only find regular commercials for the product, and not so much the infomercial... But I did find this... This was Vicki at her best:

Something I learned watching Pitchmen on the Discovery Channel which was a show with Anthony Sullivan and the late Billy Mays is that when infomercials first come out they air in test markets first. Perhaps they have been running this infomercial in test markets on and off for the oast 15 months before going nationwide because this is the first time I've seen the infomercial.

and apparently they keep running them until the warehouse runs out of stock (spots featuring Billy Mays are still airing over a year after his death)
