Victor K, WROR personality, R.I.P.

The WROR site has a mention of his passing.

He is described as a "kind soul with many accomplishments in radio and as an author," and there is a remembrance from Julie Devereaux.

R.I.P.

I just happened to look at the WROR site and saw the mention of Victor's passing. I was shocked.

I happened to have taken the last couple of days off which means I slept in which means I have not listened to WROR (esp Loren and Wally) in the morning. I am only assuming L&W may have mentioned something especially since Victor fills in on Hank Morse's traffic reports with some regularity. In fact, I think the last time I heard Victor was last week when Hank was off for a few days.

Always enjoyed listening to Victor on the weekends. I will definitely miss listening to him.

Victor K (Pryles) was an extremely unassuming, easy-going pro - in the studio and in the hallway. plus an accomplished author. i just spoke with him a few weeks back (calling the studio to say "hey" on my through town) and had no idea. my deepest sympathies to his family, friends and dear co-workers at greater boston radio group.

wow...victor was one of the most solid weekenders here in boston....sad to hear of his passing....he always seemed like he really enjoyed doing radio and that it wasn't just "another shift"

There is an obit in the Globe today. Don't think this isn't having an effect on everyone in our age group - Paul Caruso, Barb Kitson, Jo Jo Laine, Brad Delp, Victor K...may they all rest in peace.

I met/worked with Victor a few years back. Albeit only one day at a remote broadcast. He was a truly nice guy. He had no ego and was very pleasant to talk with for all of the 4 hours we were together. Radio has lost a true good guy.

R.I.P. Victor.
