Victor Sansone Retires
Broadcast veteran of 32-plus years, VICTOR SANSONE has retired. Most recently the President/GM at CITADEL Country KSCS and Classic Hits KTYS/DALLAS, SANSONE spent many years in ATLANTA for ABC RADIO. He did two tours as Market Manager at ABC/ATLANTA from 1983-1987 and 1996 until JANUARY, 2008.
The Question is, did he retire, or was this Citadel budget cuts? Hmm.....

guy spent 30 plus years printing money for ABC, let him retire. What have you done? Platinum was not his or any local decision.

My guess is that Victor wasn't allowed to do what HE thought was best and cut his losses. If that's the case, he's a smart man.

Victor was my GM during the 1st tour of duty @KSCS from 87-92..it was he, Stecker, Dorsey, Hawkeye, Paul Bottoms & Chick Edwards that took that station from #13 to #1--It was fun playing those requests each evening knowing those guys were in charge of the daytime stuff!
