Vidalia, GA Radio Question

Does anyone know anything about stations serving the Vidalia area? Can you tell me about call letters and formats. Are any stations for sale in this area? What do stations in this area normally bill per year? Thanks for any input.

Thanks, but is there any inside scoop that would be important to know?

The Vidalia Communications Corporation (WVOP-970 AM, WTCQ-97.7 FM, and WYUM-101.7 FM) has to be the strongest radio group in the Vidalia market. All three stations have won awards from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters, including a few "Station Of The Year" honors, within the last decade or so. They also place a lot of emphasis on local news and sports coverage, especially the local high school teams, whether it be football, basketball, or even baseball.

What about the station in Lyons? Can they compete in Vidalia?

Anyone know about the operators of the stations in that area? Are they worth working for?

I've worked on and off with Ray Bilbrey in Lyons, not working for him but working with him. He knows what he is doing, and has a lot of experience. He is professional, and expects the same from his co-workers.
