Video: Katie Couric Warns Against "Haters And Trolls" On The Internet

This week, the "CBS Evening News" anchor used her "Notebook" segment to flame away at message board posters who leave "anonymous atom bombs of animosity".

It sounds to me like Katie is upset with the unkind comments being written about her, and her future at CBS News.

Who really pays attention to what bloggers have to say anyways, unless they leave their real names and are someone of importance? Even then it's their own opinions and you know the famous saying about everyone having an opinion, along with something else. ;D

I guess when your name is Katie Couric you always enjoy allowable alliteration.

Oh, and good work on that interwebs story. Is this your first day here?

I could respond by warning against all of the Traitors and Fools on network news broadcasts...

A very nice play on "Nattering Nabobs of Negativity" ...

Yet somehow I have a feeling she didn't come up with that term all by herself...
