Video streaming software suggestions

I am looking into putting a camera on one of our towers. Does anyone know of any software that will let me stream the video back to the studio. I have tried windows media encoder but i would like to look at some other options. I am going to be running composite video into a video capture card on an old computer and then streaming it to the studio over a 5.8Ghz unlicensed link. The only requirement is it has to be cheap. This is something I am playing with and all cost are out of my pocket.
 
Don't but your nut on this deal

For $300 you can buy a four camera system with a hard drive that will offer a whole lot of options.
