Videos of Howie Carr behind the scenes

Not sure but he's had a lot of stuff to deal with; osteoparosis, hip replacement, some kind of
skin cancer I think? Even emphysema

IIRC Howie's Dad passed earlier this year.

Yes HC signed a contract, and when ETM jerked him around and went past the deadline, HC had the right to shop his services to the highest bidder, I think the fact that WTTK offered him a FM signal should have been enough for him to win his case, but the Judge disagreed.

Did you hear the pattern change tonight? How long were they off the air?
That doesn't happen in FM radio, nor does the lack of signal to the metro west area.
I think the technology improvement was a valid argument, and ETM wasn't about to flip an FM to a talker.

I believe Howard L. Carr Sr. passed away around Columbus Day wknd of 08. Howie's dad not considered a celeb and thus death pool not for him

Pattern change--they were off about 3-4 minutes. He said again he hopes to be on a strong FM station in the future so this doesn't happen (WCRN still had Howie fine but WRKO has probs with pattern change)

howie directs listeners in the western suburbs to try wcrn for better reception. Does WRKO profit from WCRN getting extra listeners, or are the number of listeners so small that it does not affect their profits? Howie also directs listeners to howiecarr.com. On my computer that brings me to WRKO.com, which requires users to sign in to listen live. Am i missing something?

Scranton, try this link for a workaround (helps to have RealAudio installed): http://www.thestreamcenter.com/search.asp?name=wrko

Jason Wolfe is friends with Kurt Carberry. Losing listeners to WCRN is at least helping his buddy out.
