i am deep into research to do the year-by-year history of every team's radio commentary crews since the beginning. with the help of some kind folks, broadcasting and cable, dbsforums, yahoogroups, prquest and google, this is what i have so far for the vikes:

I believe Herb Carneal was the first Vikings radio man. He did the Vikes for a year before moving over to the Twins.
