Vince and Linda McMahan do damage control

Vince on the Today show and Linda on Good Morning America. While Merideth Viera gave Vince a nothing more than a cold welcome on Today trying to blame the worlds problems on him. Linda on GMA had a more pleasent experience.
Vince trying to get the media's attention off Steroids and back onto the fact no one can figure out why Chris Benoit snapped.Linda on the other hand trying to do the same thing but into a little more depth.
According to Linda,Drug testing is more in depth now over the past year or so.
Here's how she says punishment is handled.

1 st time illegal drugs are found on a performer there is a 30 day suspension.I guess without pay.

2 nd time. There is a 60 day suspension.
3 rd time They are fired with no questions asked.
This may explain why a few wrestlers have been let go recently.
One that comes to mind is SABU and RVD a year or so ago getting caught smoking pot by a state trouper. RVD and Sabu were suspended for 30 days.
SABU,out of the blue is no longer with ECW or WWE in general. This may be because of his health.
I saw these on WWE.COM but tese interviews have been takin off thier website a few hours later.
Anything and everything to do with Chris Benoit has been removed also.
They do have another problem and I think it is FOX rthat is reporting this.
I am not sure of the website but someone posted a thread like ours here on RI, 12-14 hours before the sheriffs department even were summond to the Benoit household and found the bodies this person posted that Chris missed the pay-per-view because him and his family were dead.
Authorties and the Website owners traced the IP address to,you guessed it Stamford Conn.Stamford is where WWE headquarters is located.

Yes, WWE is based in Stamford. However, that ISP address has yet to be confirmed. Stamford has over 100,000 people, so it'll take a while.

P.S. It's McMahon by the way! :)

I saw both and it just seems the world is out to get Vince McMahon, to place blame on him for all that has happened. Really, what can he do? The drug testing policy is very strict and firm according to everybody closely tied to the situation.

People are grouping steroids with a cold-blooded murder...

Technically, their HQ is right next door in Darien - which is a very swanky suburb in Fairfield County. Just off of the always-congested I-95.

The location of WWE's operations could not be more different than what most people would stereotype it to be. There isn't a trailer within 20 miles of there!

Darien? Not quite. Titan Tower is at 1241 East Main Street (US Route 1) in Stamford, CT. Their old headquarters was on Summer Street in Stamford until (I think) the late 1980s.

I saw Vince's interview, and in comparision to past interviews I've seen him in (Bob Costas and Armen Keteyan on HBO's Real Sports), he wasn't as testy as he would usually be when does interviews with the mainstream media. The tone of the interview was basically what I expected, pretty much trying pin the blame of Benoit's murder-suicide on Vince and WWE, without coming out and saying it. I would never find myself defending anything Vince McMahon does (even with watching the WWE/F since I was a kid), but you know that the mainsteam media will continue to pile on him and the sports entertainment business with more of these tragic deaths coming to pass, especially when it's undeserved.
